The Annual General Meeting for the WNMS will take place on Thursday, February 27th at 6 PM at the Visitor Information Centre.

Topics on the agenda will include the financial report, the president’s report, a visual recap of the various volunteer activities, and a discussion of the major projects undertaken in 2024.

As per the BC Societies Act, Part 6, Division 2, Section 81, Subsection 4, the WNMS has received a valid proposal from a member, Kevin Sharman, to discuss the “appropriateness of paying WNMS board members to work for the WNMS”.  The names and signatures of 13 members were included in the proposal. Kevin will present and speak about the proposal personally at the AGM.

As per bylaws, the current Board of Directors will resign and a new Board will be elected. The final agenda will be published before the meeting.

The meeting will be open to the public but only members in good standing will be eligible to vote. Memberships are available on the website at wnms.ca
